All NGA panel cores to have a premium foil backing adhered onto the backside facing. Why?
1. This will prevent any contact with the high density fiberboard core whatsoever. NGA panels are upholstered on THE INSIDE of the acoustic panel. This allows for the complete covering of the front, top, bottom, sides and back. Leaving the core completely hidden & non exposed. And the final product looking great from any/every angle!
2. Added acoustic benefits of a premium foil backing. Acoustic field tests have repeatedly shown across the board that when an acoustic fiberboard has a foil backing, it increases the midrange and low-end frequency absorption response properties! That's right - the foil facing makes the panels actually absorb additional mid-rand & low-end sound!!
